What started as a local race has grown into Bitola’s biggest sporting event, a celebration of running, community, and determination. Every year, the streets transform into a track where every runner writes their own story—one step at a time.

Bitola’s first city race was organised in 2019. Since then, Trchaj Be has only gained momentum, inspiring thousands and becoming a symbol of unstoppable energy. Since 2022, Alpine Milk has proudly stood behind those who embrace the challenge and celebrate every kilometer they conquer.

Wizz Air Skopje Marathon is member of AIMS-Association of International Marathons and Distance Races.  

The Skopje Marathon, the first marathon race of an international nature entitled "Skopje Marathon" in Skopje was held in 1997.

 The Skopje Marathon course has had a certificate from the Association for Marathons and Road Races (AIMS) since 2008, which recognizes all achieved results and records.
